EBONY HAIR FOR 2010

Some of the most beautiful hair is ebony. If you care for it the way you should, then your ebony hair can be incredibly captivating and sexy. Everyone envies how ebony hair shines and seems to glow. Hairstyles have changed a good bit from the more traditional looks because stars such as Tyra Banks and Jordin Sparks have turned them into beautiful modern styles with a few twists.

JORDIN SPARKS EBONY HAIR

Layers are as great for ebony hair as they are for anyone else. To do layers that look great, you have to relax your hair first. This will help to keep your hair from looking overly fluffy and let it lie more naturally. No matter the length of your hair, if you let it fall around your shoulders, frame your face, and have bangs in some cute style (side-swept or parted, for instance) then you have an easy and beautiful look no matter your age. Add accessories, change the parting, or turn it into an up-do for hundreds of looks that you can wear at any time. You could even add highlights or extensions for even more variety.

TYRA BANKS LONG STRAIGHT HAIR

Tyra Banks sometimes wears a sleek look that is absolutely beautiful with ebony hair. It’s also very simple to do. Simply wash and condition your hair, towel dry, and add wax and a smoothing shine to it while it’s still damp. Use a hairdryer to finish drying it. Part in the center, use a flat iron from roots to tips, and add some spray or gel if need be. You’re done. You have a look that is great for any age woman with any face shape, that can be dressed up or down, and that brings out the best of ebony hair – every highlight is shone, and when straight like this, it truly shines and is beautiful.

PROM UPDOS 2010

If you are going to prom, you have to look good. You don’t want to wear a hairstyle that is so old-fashioned you’ll be laughed out but you don’t want to look weird either. The following are some up-dos that would be perfect to wear to the prom.

PROM UPDO HAIRSTYLE 2010

Debra Messing

This first look you can either have a stylist do or you can try it yourself. It’s fairly simple and looks great. Wash your hair and add styling lotion from the roots out. Blow dry your hair until very dry. Once dry, roll in hot rollers and spray with holding spray right before curling. When they are curl, take them out one by one and tease a little at the root. Keep pieces together and pull your hair back into a ponytail. Take the chunky pieces of hair and roll up, pinning in place at the crown. Do this for all the pieces but do them all in different directions. Part bangs and smooth along your face and secure everything with extra pins.

Another great style is great for straight hair. Blow dry your hair and then pull back into a ponytail. Separate into four pieces, wind them around each other, and pin in place. Wind them loosely and add jeweled pins. Pin your bangs along the sides of your face and spray lots of hair spray.
